Refunds & Cancellations
What happens to your money when a paid session is cancelled, or when a plan payment goes wrong.

Cancelling a paid session
A session can be cancelled by either side up until it starts. Once it has started it can no longer be cancelled.
When a paid session is cancelled — by the client or by the expert — we refund the amount paid less the 5% platform fee, automatically, to the original payment method. There is nothing to claim and no form to fill in.
- The refund is issued as soon as the cancellation is recorded.
- It reaches your account in roughly 5–7 working days, depending on your bank.
- Razorpay returns it to the card, UPI ID or account the payment came from. We cannot send it anywhere else.
Two cases we cannot settle automatically
Both are resolved by email, usually within a couple of working days:
- The expert has already been paid out. Once a payout has been released for a session, the money has left us. We cannot pull it back automatically, so the refund is handled manually.
- The refund would be under ₹1. Razorpay does not process refunds below ₹1. Where the platform fee would drag the refund under that floor, we waive the fee and return the full amount instead — so in practice this only affects payments under ₹1.
Plan payments
Creator and Business are one-time payments that unlock access immediately for 365 days. They do not auto-renew and nothing is charged when the period ends. Because access is granted at once, plan payments are generally non-refundable.
If something went wrong — you were charged twice, a payment succeeded but access was not granted, or the service was materially unavailable — email us within 7 days and we will put it right.
Coupons
A coupon applies only within its stated validity window and only to the plan it names. Where a discounted payment is refunded, the refund is of the amount actually paid, not the undiscounted price.
