About OpenHour
A booking page for people who sell their time, built by someone who needed one.
Last updated: 14 September 2026
Why OpenHour exists
Booking a thirty-minute call used to take eleven messages. Finding a slot, agreeing a price, sending an invoice, chasing the payment, sending the link — none of that is the work. It is the tax you pay before the work starts.
OpenHour removes it. Publish the sessions you actually offer, each with its own length, price and description, and share one link. Someone picks a time that is genuinely free, pays if the session is paid, and the meeting lands on both calendars. No back and forth.
Who runs it
OpenHour is built and run by Animesh Roy, an offensive security consultant and mentor. His practice covers offensive security, security consulting, research, training and open-source tooling — red teaming, risk assessment, gap analysis and SOC capability work. He founded the Vapra Shiksha Foundation, which trains people in practical security through attack simulation, and has mentored over 500 people.
OpenHour began as the tool he wanted for his own consulting practice, and is now open to anyone who sells their time: consultants, mentors, coaches, advisors.
How it is run
